Opportunities

As part of the VICOR program, we seek to provide up to $12,000 in scholarship to students to complete select cyber badges, a hands-on research project on national defense or strategy, prepare for cyber certifications, enhance leadership and technical skills, and network with professionals in the DoD and private sector.

VICOR Enrollment Process

The annual application will be open from December-February of each year. During this time, students can complete their applications for the VICOR program. That March, students will be notified of their acceptance to the VICOR program. The selected cohort will begin the program in the following Fall semester.

Interested in Becoming a Mentor?

If you are a cybersecurity specialist or work in cyber defense for the government or private sector and want to engage with the next generation of cyber defense experts inquire about mentorship opportunities. As a mentor, you will be able to work with students in the program to support their cyber education, research, and career planning. Eligibility Requirements

  • Be an undergraduate student (freshman-senior)
    • ROTC or veteran students are a priority
  • Be eligible for a security clearance
